Sutton Grammars (WCGS, Sutton) versus independant in south west London

we're looking for people's thoughts on Wallington County GS or Sutton grammar versus the indies in Croydon/Dulwich (Alleyn).

are the indies worth the extra expense ? we have a large family ...

The indies probably aren't worth the extra money but good luck getting your DCs into the grammar schools. It is incredibly tough. They also have no sibling policy, so while you may get one DC in, you may not get them all in.
