wait list Hampton

Does anyone know how the wait list has moved historically? DS is on this year's wait list but I don't want to give him false hope.

If this is 11+, I know 2 boys who will be returning Hampton offers this weekend in favour of Latimer Upper.

Of course, that won't help the waiting list if they over offered in the first place...

I'm not sure that past waiting list movement is any help to you I'm afraid as there is so much variation from year to year. A few years ago DD was close to the top of the waiting list for her first choice school and the registrar was really positive when we spoke. Unfortunately that year they had more acceptances than expected and didn't go to the waiting list at all. However, we did get an offer eventually out of the blue in June, when someone withdrew unexpectedly. All you can do is keep in touch- not too often to be annoying but often enough so the registrar knows you are really keen.
