We are exploring secondary options for our very bright but very individual daughter and are going to an open morning here later this month. Does anyone have experience they can share?

There is a reasonable range of academic abilities, quite a few dyslexic kids. But in both my boys years there are some very smart / high achieving kids.
Your daughter will get supported and get to try new things.

Thanks Namechanger. We want to find somewhere that doesn't follow the traditional independent model like our other daughter's school. This particular daughter is very different and needs an environment that can relate more to her as an individual and accept her for who she is rather than expect her to follow the traditional route. She is really bright and eats everything up that's taught to her but she also has lots of ideas of her own and likes to put her stamp on things. We have a friend whose child recently started at Frensham - a few years older - and she speaks very highly of it. I saw a video yesterday for their upcoming open day and it looked really interesting so keen to see if people's experiences match up.

DD2 is at St Chris in Letchworth, which I think has a similar ethos, and loves it.
