11+ ISEB Pre-tests for independent boys' schools

How did everyone's son find the 11+ ISEB computer pre-tests this month? We found it to be relatively straightforward in Maths, English and VR but difficult in NVR.

Letters are sent out at the beginning of June to you and your prep. The HM doing the interview will tell you what date you'll be informed every house informs parents and preps on the same day. . The letter arrived as promised on the date we were given. It seems such a long time ago now, my DS has only got 1 term to go.

Thanks.For us as parents it's the end of an era, obviously DS doesn't see it like this he sees it as the beginning of new and exciting opportunities. I'll and he will be mighty relieved when his Pre U's have been sat, they are such a lot of work and so much harder than A levels. .

Hi all my son is having his ISEB exam in Nov. We are making him ready for exam. But we are not sure What he should expect from papers! I know it's computerised exam and he is good and VR ,NV and maths . how about the comprehension and story writing ?! I've bought papers online but I am not really sure if those paper are really ISEB exam paper or not!

I think the ISEB test is just a computer exam. In our experience no writing was required unless there's a second stage/round. Which school are you sitting for?
