How many letter so complaint do you suppose the Headteacher gets in any one day?

any ideas?
I'm trying to find a reason why my letter from 6 October, delivered by hand and acknowledged in a telephone message the same day, has still not been replied to.
TIA

Presumably the school's complaint procedure is on the website. It should contain the expected time limits for addressing the complaint? For our school, the head has 20 school days to respond.

I looked there first but couldn't find a time scale Ladymuck.

But 20 school days is longer than I would have expected so perhaps I am being impatient Hmm

No harm in dropping an email to ask when you might expect to have an answer. Most secondary schools will have a separate complaints co-ordinator.

I'd estimate that our head could get around 150 pieces of correspondence per school day, many of which are expertly delegated to the relevant person by their PA.

Thanks Ladymuck.
The deputy head called me yesterday late afternoon.
