Bryanston - DC is not settling, help needed!

DC started full boarding at Bryanston (Y9) in September 2015. DC is new to boarding and was at Prep before. It's October half term week and DC is feeling miserable about life at this new school, mainly because of too much academic pressure. Contacted school who tell me they will discuss with DC and handle it. Anyone's DC experienced the same? Any advice or suggestions very welcome.

I've PMd you but I do think that schools like Bryanston and others who are not known to be particularly selective are under a lot of pressure to fill their vacancies by generating good exam results and therefore are increasingly applying more pressure to their pupils than they did 4-5 years ago.
