Confused to choose between Wallington County Boys and Langely Grammar School

My son has passed Berkshire schools and Sutton schools we are would like to fill our 1st option as Wilson in Sutton but we are confused between Wallington County Boys Grammar school in Sutton and Langely Grammar School in Slough. Though we live a bit closer to Slough as compared to Sutton but we are open to relocate. Will it be good idea to relocate for Wallington County Boys Grammar school in Sutton instead of Langely? We are hoping he gets in Wilson as it is his choice, we were not able to attend the open day/evening at Wallington so a bit confused

Ring Wallington and ask to visit during school hours. You can't plan to relocate on the basis of a school you've never seen! Presumably you'd have to relocate if your DS got Wilsons?

Thanks Seeline for your advice will try to visit WCGS but we need to fill the CAF soon before 31st and schools are closed for term holidays :(
Hence this dilema
The thing i, we are really impressed with Wilson and we would relocate if my son gets there. We have heard a lot of good things about WCGS and so we wanted to keep it as our second choice. But as Langley in also good we were a bit confused.

It's wonderful at this time of year to watch the muppets on the 11+ Forum who have either:

• applied to 10+ schools and now can't choose
• applied to schools and suddenly realise it was pointless as they are out of catchment
• applied to schools they have never even visited!! FFS.
• applied to schools and think that a 90 minute journey to school for their child or 3 hours a day on a bus is reasonable
• applied to schools and now intend to move areas just for the school for one doted on child!

The stupidity of parents is a genuine sight to behold sometimes...
