Can anyone advise me of good secondary schools in Suffolk?

Hello Staley4! Whereabouts in Suffolk are you looking? - it's a large and rather spread out county. State or independent?

Staley4 · 20/10/2015 09:08

Around Finborough area

Friends have specifically not sent their children to Stowmarket High but instead to Stowupland.

It's an easy distance from Finborough.
Then there is Finborough School but that's independent and not sure how good it is any more.

Thank you. Do they have grammar schools in Suffolk?

There aren't grammar schools, no but there is King Edward VI in Buy St Edmunds bit of a trek from Finborough though. It's an outstanding C of E secondary school.

Agree that King Edward is well worth a look but it's 'good', not 'outstanding '.

Debenham high school is lovely and v well thought of. The schools in Bury St Edmunds are all good. Stowupland OKish.
