GCSE chemistry revision guides

I'm looking for recommendations of some revision guides.

In KS3, the gcp guides recommended here were very useful - are there similar ones for GCSE chemistry, biology & further math?

Thanks Smile

Do you know which syllabus is required?

What board?

imo The Letts guides are nicely laid out, but they cover all boards and therefore a lot of unnecessary information which can be confusing.

DD did Edexcel and they publish their own guides which contains 'necessary and sufficient' information. DD used them, only referring to the Letts ones if there was something she or I couldn't understand.

Definitely the CGP ones - get your child to find out what specification they're doing (might be on the school website) and buy the right one, then it will cover everything and nothing more.

I think it's the AQA

CGP do AQA (and other exam boards) revision guides and workbooks for Chemistry.

The CGP ones are good but make sure you get the full book rather than just the shorter revision guide ime it's well worth the extra money.
