Fantastic motherstongue, really pleased for you and DS.

My phone has started beeping with texts. My poor friend is going with her DD to London today for Apprenticeship interview after A level disaster last week and her DH taking their other DC to get GCSE results.

DD wants to leave a bit later as doesn't want to be first in.

spudmasher · 20/08/2015 08:20

Congratulations motherstongue's DS!!! And well done to you for supporting him. You can relax now! How does it feel?

Fairenuff · 20/08/2015 08:20

Well done to your ds motherstongue, great news Smile

bigTillyMint · 20/08/2015 08:22

Results are in.. Delighted.
Phew.

GloriaSmud · 20/08/2015 08:26

Well done, motherstongue's DS and family.
Waiting for DH to finish his breakfast ~ he's now decided he's coming to the school with us.
DD's just done the, 'I think I've failed everything' speech.

JugglingChaotically · 20/08/2015 08:26

All ok here too. Sixth form place secured.
Good luck all.

SugarPlumTree · 20/08/2015 08:27

Brilliant Savagebeauty, this is a lovely start.

Grin Spud.

I have a tendency to laugh hysterically at inappropriate moments under stress so need to keep a lid on that.

motherstongue · 20/08/2015 08:28

Spud, it feels great! I'm so relieved. I had a restless night last night worrying he wouldn't do as well as he was hoping but he did brilliantly so we are about to do the Bucks Fizz and we'll be able to celebrate at lunch today at his favourite restaurant. Lots of calls coming in from his friends too and everyone seems to be very happy with their results. I hope that bodes well for everyone else on here...

OddBoots · 20/08/2015 08:29

Great news motherstongue, Savagebeauty and JugglingChaotically :)

You must all be so relieved and happy.

I'm being distracted by seeing the theatre company from my dd's drama group on Sky News.

spudmasher · 20/08/2015 08:31

Motherstongue, that sounds wonderful!

ShanghaiDiva · 20/08/2015 08:31

Well done motherstongue, savage and juggling's children!
Relax now - and then let's do it all again next year with ASs!

SugarPlumTree · 20/08/2015 08:43

Juggling that's great Smile

DD has lost her fricking shoes .

motherstongue · 20/08/2015 08:50

Shanghai I'm laughing hysterically about the idea of AS....

Well done to Juggling and Savage's kids too.

DS has drum and base on and it's not even 9 o'clock, the place is jumping.

Oh good grief, after the hassle of yesterday and "the list " I've been blocked out of mn, it's taken me nearly an hour and in end I've re registered new!! I didn't need that this morning. ....

Well ds has gone. I'm at home been told in no uncertain terms not to drive up, I'm dressed and ready waiting for a call, to see if I need to fly up there and sort things or I can just enjoy my coffee. . Good luck everyone

cleanmachine · 20/08/2015 08:58

results at 10 here and knowing ds he will dilly dally and be home for 4pm! trying to stay calm. lovely news on this thread. well done to all. slightly alarmed by reports in the news this morning that results were down. really hoping that's not true.

Ripeningapples · 20/08/2015 09:05

Heart pounding in car. She's gone in.

HSMMaCM · 20/08/2015 09:08

Couldn't log on for a while and that distracted me Grin.

Odd boots thanks for that phone number.

DD results at 1045. She's planning to go to the head of sixth form and say now that she can't take biology there will never be a cure for cancer! I think she's a bit upset about it Shock.

She's going to ask if she can start with 5 subjects and drop one by half term.

SugarPlumTree · 20/08/2015 09:15

Another in the car, she looked terrified bless her and stalled on getting out.

Auntpetunia2015 · 20/08/2015 09:16

Phew!!!! All passed, he's so calm. Brew

Helenluvsrob · 20/08/2015 09:17

Feeling sick. she's gone in. i'm at work

SugarPlumTree · 20/08/2015 09:19

Yay, brilliant APSmile

Auntpetunia2015 · 20/08/2015 09:23

sugar just so pleased. Bit of an upset with his drama which despite his top grade in the practical and course work he got a c!! He's not happy but it's a pass and he doesn't want to take it further so it's all good.

OddBoots · 20/08/2015 09:27

Great news AuntP. Drama is one that gets heavily moderated, annoying as it is so subjective but as you say, it's a pass.
