Which secondary schools in South East London are good at arts and graphics?

Hi; I understand secondary schools in the UK normally have a subject they are strong at. Eg. Music, arts, drama, business. What are the secondary schools in South East London that specialize in arts and design either private or state. Thank you

Meant to say design instead of graphics. In the title

Most are all rounded although some state schools especially academies might have extra provision, for say sport or technology. For independent schools this is largely anecdotal . Do you want single sex or coed.

It can be single or coed. Looking for a school that support my DD passion which is arts and design.

What age group are you looking at ? GCSE might be different to 6th form by which time you can look at a wider selection including colleges too. Have a look at the GDST schools of which there are several in outer London for example.

My experience of a school with an arts specialism was that it was mainly about presenting the school in an attractive light rather than supporting the pupils. It provided very little in real terms.

You might want to have a look at the Brit School in Selhurst /Croydon - only takes year 9 onwards though. DD got in on the art specialism but did not take the place in the end due to distance.

At this stage I would generally say to keep options open. Up to the age of 14 one of my children was adamant they wanted to work in animation - now studying to be a vet!

Try Alleyn's or St Dunstan's College, both private co-ed.
