Hi I am looking to move to Taunton over the summer holidays. Can anyone give any feedback on Wellington School and Queens. I've looked at both and they both seem nice. We are looking to buy a house in Monkton Heathfield and wondered if there were any local walks suitable for dogs. Also it would be really useful to know how long it would take in school times to get to both Wellington & Queens.

I think Wellington School is good for music. Queens is meant to be very caring and has excellent results.

Note if you are going to be living in Monkton Heathfield there is an outstanding state school in the village (Heathfield) with its own theatre.

The centre of Taunton is very congested at peak traffic times which will make the school run annoying/longer than you expect to either Wellington or Queens (although there is going to be a new through road which might help with Wellington.)
