My son has been accepted by OIC. It is newly acquired by Cardiff Sixth Form School, a school with top results. Anyone who know about OIC or has your son or daughter studying there. My son will probably focus on shaping himself for university. Is it good school to meet his needs? Another one is Caterham, a traditional school. Which one would you prefer?

DD spent a couple of terms at OIC at GCSE level doing a bit of a pick your own schedule, having done a summer school at OXSS. She is very bright but tricky and they were lovely. In the end, she chose only to complete one GCSE (maths - she got a B based on 1h tuition a week).

The tutors knew their stuff and (for us) more importantly they were lovely to DD, treated her like an independent learner and avoided pissing her off (she had lasted a term at the much more school like Davies Laing Dick in a London before relations totally broke down).
