Can anyone help with schools? We have 2 DC's, year 4 and year 7, so secondary schools are our priority.

Haydon School and Nower Hill both have outstanding Ofsted reports. Does anyone have children at either of these schools? How are they doing? And how close would we have to live to be offered a place?

Any information on either school would be most gratefully received! We are moving from South London to North London so don't know the area very well, although I used to live near there a very long time ago.

TIA! Smile

Hi, sorry have just seen this. I don't know Nower Hill but know children at Haydon who are very happy. It seems to be getting better with its new labelling of high achievers who get extra curricular stuff appropriate to their needs.
The new sixth form centre seems lovely with work area and its own staffed cafe and relaxation space.

Nower hill is very very over subscribed and you do have to live very close to the school. But as you are thinking of pinner you may be ok. It vary from year to year. Good luck
