How did you manage it? We have our appeal next week and I think that however good our case the school is so over subscribed that there's almost no point :((

It doesn't matter how much the school is oversubscribed. That is not a factor in the panel's decision at all. It simply means the school is popular. What matters is how good a case you make that your child needs this school. If you post the details of your case you will get some good advice.
