Keep calm everyone.

Thanks for Matalan tip Back. The rate he is growing I don't think he will be in it for long at all.

Sparklingbrook · 11/05/2015 19:23

Yes Tilly. But I was terrible. I would be-

Oh no that's four 'B's in a row that can't be right
Haven't had a D for a while....

Then there were ones where two answers were so similar I would talk myself out of the one I had chosen.

bebumba · 11/05/2015 19:26

I had forgotten all about multiple guess papers. I remember trying to look for patterns and changing my answer/guess if there were too many of the same letter.
Turns out I was a pretty good guesser!

JugglingFromHereToThere · 11/05/2015 19:33

I loved multi-guess too Tilly and bebumba. Was quite surprised they don't seem to do them anymore. They seemed so modern in the 70s!

I was a great guesser and really suited my it's in there somewhere kind of brain!

OddBoots · 11/05/2015 19:35

Isn't some of the French reading exam kind of multiple choice?

bigTillyMint · 11/05/2015 19:35

I think I must have been too, bebumba/jugglingGrin

bebumba · 11/05/2015 19:38

My secret is now out, my life has beenbuilt around being a dood guesser. Our dcs have no idea what they have missed out on. Fancy having to actually know the answer to the questions!

bebumba · 11/05/2015 19:39

Sorry forgot to read before sending thus the spelling mistakes.

LotusLight · 11/05/2015 20:03

My son is bemoaning the change from French questions about a text in French to English questions about a French text as apparently it was easier when it was all French as easier to guess as you could find the French words in the question.

bigTillyMint · 11/05/2015 20:12

Yes that would be easier, Lotus. Is that a recent change, as in just for these exams?

HSMMaCM · 11/05/2015 20:15

DD can get to school for last minute French cramming at 8am tomorrow. We'll be there.

I used to love multi guess, but my dad said I'd better never get less than a monkey mark (25%).

DD had ICT this afternoon. The teacher told them they could revise. They all got their biology books out for tomorrow and she said noooo, revise for ICT on Wednesday (compulsory subject that no one wanted to take).

Mine with Biology tomorrow is currently having a relaxing bath!

Sparklingbrook · 11/05/2015 20:40

Mine is now in the kitchen foraging. Hmm

Littleham · 11/05/2015 20:43

Mine has stopped revising now. Refused to do any French - 'what I don't know, I will never know'. Shudder.

Did Biology via kick with friend (testing each other).

TheWordFactory · 11/05/2015 20:44

I've got one in the bath and one foraging Grin.

bigTillyMint · 11/05/2015 20:44

Mine is sleeping. It was supposed to be a half hour powernap.

Sparklingbrook · 11/05/2015 20:45

4 digestives glued together with Nutella. Hmm Nutellary knife glued to worktop. Angry

Littleham · 11/05/2015 20:49

Power food. Grin

Mine has munched through a toasted teacake, a chocolate ice cream, a banana and dabbled in making a smoothie. Because 'facts sink in easier if I am doing something'. Kitchen complete mess.

Sparklingbrook · 11/05/2015 20:53

Had an email from the school this evening saying it was the exam timetable, which was a worry as it's been glued to our kitchen wall for about a month already.
This new one today has the location of the exam down to the exact desk he will be sitting at though-he seemed impressed with that.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 11/05/2015 20:56

dd had rs today. School do it early for some of them. Ive been lurking in horror at what we will face next year. No idea how it went - apparently it wasnt terrible. Next one on wednesday. Then they start work on their AS Confused

auntpetunia · 11/05/2015 21:01

Mines making noises in the kitchen just had to remind him not to use my toaster as he was doing 2 teacakes and wanted them together layered with lemom jam and Nutella and both hot. Not one bit of revision done tonight but plenty of klingons slayed !!

CocoaBeans · 11/05/2015 21:16

Mine has eaten two mini lemon meringue pies (it's fruit, right?!) and is revising and refusing to eat a sensible dinner Hmm

GloriaSmud · 11/05/2015 21:16

DD1 hasn't done any revision tonight for the Biology exam tomorrow. Her reasoning is that she has a double science lesson before the exam in the afternoon, so that will be her chance to do some revising.

I'm Grin at the 'foraging' going on ~ mine does that more after school rather than in the evenings. She starts at the fridge and if there's no satisfaction to be found there, goes through the cupboards.

bigTillyMint · 11/05/2015 21:17

DD is still sleeping. DH has tried to wake her up numerous times, to much screeching on her part.

Should we leave her to it (possibly to be awake in the night and unable to get up in the morning) or try to wake her (possibly to be awake in the night and unable to get up in the morning) ?
