Moving to Wiltshire, near Trowbridge HELP!!

My family and I are due to relocate. I have two boys 12 & 13 who currently go to an outstanding school, for the oldest who isn't academic it's been a bit of a tough ride, for the younger it's been amazing.... he's academically bright.

I'm looking for decent secondary schools in Trowbridge/Bath or surrounding areas.

Please any help or advice would be gratefully received.

I live in that area. I went to St Laurence School in BOA which was brilliant - specialist Arts school now I think.

Corsham School is good I think (My DS is only 2 so not quite there yet!)

Happy to PM if you want to chat.

Sounds like it may well suit then. They have the massive Wiltshire Music Centre in the grounds.

It's been 15 years since I was there but I understand it's still pretty good.

John of Gaunt is improving rapidly, I know 2 friends of DD who have moved from schools that are better on paper to JoG. The drama department there is really strong.
St As is the outstanding school, but difficult to access unless you are catholic, or get lucky & they have a space.
2 of the 3 Chippenham schools are very good, though personally I've always found Chippenham a bit if a commuter town.
Welcome to pm if you like
