AGGS pass mark?

I've already posted this in primary education, I was wondering if anyone could tell me roughly what percentage my daughter would need to pass the Altrincham girls grammer entrance exam. I know it changes slightly each year but a rough idea would be great. TIA

There is no (separate) exam for AGGS - it is now combined with the SGS exam - and this Sept will be the first year they've done it that way so I suppose there are no hard and fast rules. They are still sticking to the same numbers (334 out of 420 which is just less than 80%) but its all on the website. Thats the "in catchment" score by the way - if you live outside of catchment your DD will need a higher mark.

Thanks Mandy that's really useful I already knew about the combined exam but just wasn't sure on the pass marks I must have missed it on the website will have a proper look when I get a few minutes. We are fortunate to be walking distance from the school but in all honesty I wasn't sure if dds maths was strong enough but she sat a mock entrance exam yesterday and scored really well with an overall mark of 85%. We are also walking distance from loreto and dd is at a feeder school so hopefully she will pass for one of the two!
