Big sigh.....Ah dear this waiting list business is taking over my brain! Where I live we have two rounds of waiting list reshuffling. The first was at the end of March, which put us in the top 5. The second round update is due some time today or tomorrow. I cant think about anything else.
We have appealed as well and have our appeal date in a couple of weeks, thank you to the 3 experts on here who kindly have given great advice on this and weather or not we gain a place through appeal the advice given I will always be grateful for. We feel we have put together the best case we can in our circumstances.
However im praying for good news tonight or tomorrow...Time is not moving ha-ha!
I contacted the secondary school directly to ask them if they could tell me anything, and they responded that they aren't allowed to say anything until we hear officially, but they did tell me that they do have a lot of movement at this stage. So that sounds positive? I am probably reading too much into that comment, as I am wishful thinking.
On the other side of things, we have been invited to the allocated school, and dc also been invited for a transition week in summer as dc suffers with anxiety, so if dc does go there it all seems ok so far. But for several reasons dc would be better off with a place at our preferred school.
