I wonder if someone can recommend a councilor for my 17 son who is about to take his second year A level exams. He is having a wobble on confidence and he says he suffers with his nerves. We are in the Reading area.

I'm sorry I don't know any counsellors in your area, but my DD had a wobble during one of her AS exams last year, due to anxiety, and she was allowed out of the exam room, accompanied, to calm down and then returned for the remainder of the exam. It's worth checking with your DS's school/college the arrangements, and making sure he knows that he can ask for help if this happens.

I would ask at his college. My DC's sixth form college have two full time qualified counsellors on the staff.
