Advice Needed for AS Revision

DS1 has his AS exams starting on 11th May. He'll be sitting Maths, Chemistry, Economica and Physics.

How many hours per day should he be revising?

He's back to school on Tuesday so will obviously only have the evenings during the week then study leave begins on 11th May.

Has he started revising yet? if not, he has left it rather late. I think he should aim to do at least two past papers a night. when study leave starts he should work a full day, with sensible breaks, and a couple of hours right away from work each day.

He's been revising since the beginning of Year 12 and is currently doing 1 past paper a night.

He has very high expectations but has also only recently developed a love of,the xbox.........

Just read on another thread that there is an app which will plan a revision timetable around student's exam schedule. Would he be interested in that?
He could treat himself to an xbox session in his long break. I think a mix of afternoon/evening breaks can work well so he has chance to go out during the afternoon one day and have a couple of hours at a friend's house another day.

That app sounds great! Where would I find it?

He wants to study Chemical Engineering at Uni and the entry grades are high. At the moment his projected grades are ABBB.

We just had a quick chat and he's agreed to,putting the xbox on the back burner.

Surely he should be capable of organising his own revision. How old is he for goodness sake?
