My daughter is going to LEHS and we would like to know anything about LEH.
Would appreciate any comments - especially from the current parents.
Thank You.

I have 2 dds there. Anything in particular you want to know about? I'm a happy parent.

@sybilwibble
Is there any problems at the school? For example bullying or strict teachers?

Bullying has never been visible to us or immediate peer groups. Girls argue and fall out and are mean to each other - all the usual teenage hormonal female dramas, certainly, but we have never experienced that to a level I'd call bullying. Both my dds have found a lovely circle of friends, who are always welcome at our home.

Are the teachers strict? I would not see strict teachers as a problem! Are there one or two teachers who the girls identify as "strict", as in more strict than their personal favourite teachers. Yes. The same was true of my school growing up! Is the school firm on discipline and levels of good behaviour, courtesy and punctuality expected? Yes but I have no issue with that, in fact I welcome it!

I'm happy to talk more if you want to private message me?

Thank you so much!
However, I am new to Mumsnet and do no know how to private message...

There is one more question that is worrying me.
Does your dds take the school coach? People are saying that the coach is sometimes late for school.

My dd takes the coach and in all the years she has been there, her coach has only been late a few times. It started to become a bit of a problem last term (happened about three times in a couple of weeks) so they adjusted the time. I guess it depends how far you are coming - it is bound to happen occasionally. The good thing is that the girls don't get into trouble if the school coach is late.

Gracegrapecherry · 21/03/2015 20:14

I have heard that the school coach is sometimes very late to arrive at the bus station and at school and children are late for classes. Is this true?

Thank you very much Beingfrank! Is there any problems in the coach?
