Malvern College Vs Shrewsbury?

looking for a full time boarding school. Narrowed it down to Malvern College and Shrewsbury School. Any comments and experiences of the above schools would be highly appreciated!

My experience has been extremely positive. I have 3 DC at MalCol (1 finished recently). They are very different - one diffident, one academic, one musical. Although day pupils there is very little distinction between day and boarders. Able pupils are stretched. Music department v good. Learning support strong too. Houses, CCF and sport v good (I guess all such schools are). Staff work hard to get the best out of everyone. Long hours - 0805 - 2115. Choose house carefully - they differ considerably. I am not familiar with Shrewsbury. I have first hand knowledge of 2 nearby independent schools and rate Malvern strongly.
