my turn to see what mumsnet thinks about ds GCSE option

7 core subjects (English2, science3), 1 MFL, maths.

3 options;
Will take history and geography.

3rd option: DT, Mandarin or RS?
RS: likes the ethical part
DT: likes it but more unpredictable in what grades he is likely to get
MAndarin: likes the unusual aspects of MFL but although good at it feels it's getting more difficult as well

Over to mumsnet...

Just an update. After parents' evening in March , he decided on Mandarin as first choice and DT as "reserve" choice. He has now had it confirmed he can continue with Mandarin. It seems the school gets quite a few A results in GCSE exams...
