Abingdon The Other Half

Hi
Just went through the Other Half activities list. They are impressive. Just wanted to ask do the boys there take part in those activities every day or they can spend this time waiting for 5:20pm bus doing their homework. The reason I am asking it is going to be a long commute ( 1hr15 mins ) for my boys from Abingdon. So they would come shattered after school. I thought it would be good to use this time for homework.

Just asked ds for you (UVI former). He says yes it is possible to do homework in period 8 (4 - 5pm), there is no obligation to do other half activities at this time except on Wednesday, when everybody does sport. The compulsory sport sessions take place earlier in the day. However things like orchestra rehearsals always take place in period 8. Hope this is useful and that your sons enjoy Abingdon.

DS just informed me he does lower school supervised prep sessions 4-5 on Mon, Wed and Thur. Friday 4-5 is second orchestra, Tuesday is swimming.
