Wilson's?

Can anybody talk to me about Wilson's? I am having a last minute wobble at having to choose between Wilson's & KGS.

Because of the multiple visits/ exams/ interviews, I feel we know KGS better whilst Wilson's is more of an unknown quantity.

We loved it and DS had a place but location was not so good for us so ended up going to local indy.

Hi MaeMobley, I have been lurking on same threads as you, as saw your name on 11+ forum too, thought I'd say 'hi'.

My DS has just had an offer from Wilson's too. It was our no 2 on the list, St Olave's was no 1, just because the commute to that school is marginally better from where we are in SE London (near Dulwich woods).

Have you made a decision about what you are going to do yet?

we are revisiting Wilson's on Monday morning. Apparently the head is giving a tour at 9.30 for people who have had offers.

I have spoken to mums local to us who have boys at Wilson's & they assure me the journey is ok & that the older local boys act as chaperones for the newbie younger ones.

We received our offer letter from the school this morning, but no mention of a chance to see the school on Monday...
I've emailed school for more info!

My friend's lovely son went to Wilson's. It's very very competitive and very science/maths-based. So great if your ds is that way inclined - they certainly get fantastic results.
