Can anyone please confirm when we will receive the notifications? I thought we would receive it by email from this Monday morning onwards but I've also heard that they are posted out by letter (first class) from Monday onwards, so we would get it on Tuesday at the earliest.

We need to accept or reject an offer from an independent school by Tuesday afternoon so this is cutting it a bit fine.

Kingston - If you registered online you'll get an email on Monday after 5 telling you to log onto the eadmissions site.

If you didn't your post should arrive on Tuesday. I think TGS will send scores out by post to arrive on Tuesday onwards.

Pop1ns - are you looking for boys or girls scores?

What was your score Pop1ns? Pretty much anything over 232 is guaranteed entry I would think.

231 so we are on tenterhooks.I think the final score will be 228.
I started this thread so that someone outside London will post before 5pm and we can get an idea of the level needed.

Pop1ns - I can see why you're twitchy. From what I've heard 231 should be just enough. If it's any comfort I know someone with 230 who is also anxious. Not sure if it's better for TGS where you only have the stage 1 score to go on - and that's only 30%.

Yes that's tight. On the one hand you have more places available; on the other hand you have a greater number taking the exam.

We will be declining an offer and I know 2 others will be also, so that's a start'

I reckon the first cutoff will be 231/2 and end up at 229.

Do we have any scores yet? We didn't apply but concerned about friends.

229 Got offer.

Scored 242. Have an offer. Heard of offer made at 228. Sounds like final cut-off score will be lower this year.

231 got offer.
