school holidays. Can they get a bit tedious for some parents and children?

I would say the teachers welcome them

I love them should be longer

I'm in Spain. Summer hols are 22nd June-15th September very much looking forward to them.

DS2 gets about 18 weeks a year including two full months in the summer I love having him at home and count down the weeks;

I'd love longer holidays, private school dates are much better.

DD's school seem to have masses of inset days & finish latest out of all the local-ish state schools. I'd prefer longer (more productive!) days & longer holidays.
