KCS wait list entry 2017

My DS has been wait listed for KCS for 13+ entry 2017. Does anyone know what chance he has of getting in? There's little information on the website. I know families don't have to pay their deposit until next year so suspect little movement until then?

There are a lot of boys offered places at KCS, accepted them at the same time as other schools and only drop out next year once it's more definite.
Our son & at least 7 others got a place there & waiting to hear from WS, SP so nothing to lose by accepting it as the deadline is early March. Then once the other two results are out we will withdraw & that's when your prep head needs to make his pitch for his boys.
I hope he gets in. It's a lovely school & ticked all the boxes - just too far for us.

Have you rang them to see where he is on the waiting list. They said that they were making 100 offers to secure 60 places, so 40 boys will have to not accept in order for the waiting list to move. As Londonmaman said this can take time especially with St Paul's interviews going on into the summer term and the likes of Harrow into Christmas term, so there will be hope for him for a long while yet, particularly if he is high on the waiting list.
