KGS vs Surbiton

Aside from the obvious coed vs single sex (I think my daughter would be happy at either) what do you see as the fundamental differences between these schools? They both felt pretty down to earth and with equally good sport. I know Surbiton takes a broader intake so results wise is below KGS but feel DD could do very well at either. I would really welcome opinions as we need to decide and going round in circles. Thanks all! Happy to be PM'd.

these are the two offers DD had too.
how convenient are the two playing fields for you - Hampton Court vs Hinchley Wood?
how does your DD feel about going to school by public transport (KGS) rather than the very convenient SHS school coach?
academically and extra curricular-wise i think they are fairly matched. SHS has more of a spread but it would do with bigger numbers. I know girls who have done very well at SHS (gone to uni and got 1st class degrees in STEM subjects)

SHS is much bigger though. 210 intake vs 120. bothered by that?
KGS has a theatre...
what about sixth form? will she want to move out of all girls by then? not the best time to move imo.

My daughter's been at Surbiton since Year 4 - we gave her the choice of moving out for sixth form into co-ed, she wanted to stay ... most of her friends are too

Many thanks both. Trader glad to hear your DD sounds happy at Surbiton. Out of interest did the kids coming up from the junior school and new year 7s integrate well?
Very useful questions to ask ourselves amidaiwish. (I think we met on another thread!) We are seeing them both this week. Both playing fields are a bit of a pain frankly. I understand KGS will be bussing them back to school
now but not sure about Surbiton. Surbiton's are so far she would have to make her own way back due to work/siblings activities/bedtimes.
