Which boarding school provideS CCF RAF and how much do they cost usually?

Boys or girls?

Radley and Eton to name but two.

Are you planning to choose a school based on whether or not they have a CCF? I would imagine that most of them do!

My son goes to CCF, in a state school. It's free, apart from trips and weekends away.

If you have a DS lok at Royal Grammar High Wycombe. State boarding with excellent RAF CCF. Much cheaper than private schools.

Christ's hospital - £10/yr + cost of boots.
Most trips are free (susidised by MOD)

Costs vary a bit between units, but it's usually under £100 to join (including uniform), and IIRC annual subs of £50-75 ish. There's usually an extra cost for camps, but it's typically way less than an activity based residential from other providers.

Lots of schools have them, boarding and day, state and private. It'll be in their websites, so perhaps it would be easier to check what your candidate schools have rather than look for a list?

Kirkham Grammar School used to have a very active one with army and RAF units. It doesn't cost anything on top of fees, even the uniform is provided.
They're about 25% boarding.

Abingdon has one with RAF representation. Not sure about cost though.
