Six Form Choice: Roedean or St Mary, Cambridge

This query is on behalf of an overseas pupil who is currently a Year 11 pupil of Roedean School. Her ambition is to read Theology or Philosophy at Oxford or Cambridge University. She has a six form offer in St Mary, Cambridge.

The question is: which school should she choose to do her a level study with her Oxbridge ambition in mind?

New head of Roedean is fab and definitely ambitious for the girls I would choose Roedean.

Alexw, Thanks for your comments. Are you a Roedean parents? Maybe the girl should talk to her tutor and head about this?

Am not Roedean parent but know head well professionally. I think she should definitely speak to her tutor and also try to meet with Mr B himself to chat through. Am also a theology grad so please do,pm me if you have any specific q about entrance.
