Which will be taken into account when applying to Post 16 ? The open evening mentioned "predicted grades" but I'm confused as which they consider to be the predicted grade?

An application to a 6th form will expect students to get a form filled in by their secondary school teachers with predicted grades for any subject being considered for A level. The secondary school teacher will give their best judgement of a predicted grade. This will be based on end of term assessment(s), mock grades and the teacher's expectation of the students progress.

Thanks, that's helpful. I have everything crossed but we had a bit of drama in the family during the mocks last month and results are due tomorrow so I'm mulling over whether she will lose an opportunity at a particular school due to possibly not doing as well in the mocks as she hoped.

Good to know that it's not just the mocks that are taken into consideration.

Thanks
