I am at the stage of looking at secondaries and possibly moving to a county I know nothing about.

so a double whammy - as a novice looking at these areas what advice would you offer?

If you do mean Mount Kelly in Tavistock, there are lots of villages within 30 minutes drive. Most are very small. You need to give us a bit more of a steer! Coastal? Moorland? Size? Facilities and amenities required?
