Private school - extra costs on top of fees

Can anyone tell me what sort of costs to expect at private school (Secondary, in Scotland) on top of the termly fees? Obviously there's the uniform, but is anything else we should be factoring in? And how much, roughly? Thanks.

Thanks for all the replies. Lots of really useful info, much appreciated! The open day for the school we are looking at is later this month, I feel that at least now I have a more realistic idea of what costs on top of fees might potentially be.
