Anyone with DC sitting Higher Chemistry in Scotland?

What text books are your DC using?

The one that DD has been given only gives example questions that are C grade. She needs stretching and the teacher is not forthcoming with any other suggestions. (That is another story and is going to be "dealt with" according to the Depute Head at parents evening tonight.)

I have bought book .

Also, are there any good websites she can look at as again the recommended one is too easy - Scholar.

I thought it would be easier with the National 5s out of the way!

Check the SQA website where in specimen papers section they should include some commentary from examiners on how to answer the questions.

I also noticed study guides called "Grade Boosters" in Waterstones.

Thanks for that - have pointed her to SQA!

My dd is doing Chemistry, but the "old" Higher, so I can't be of any help to you!

I've noticed there seems to be a lot less CfE/SQA discussion in general this year.

At my son's teacher's recommendation I have bought Big Red Revision Book Higher Chemistry and Leckie chemistry sucess guide.
