Help! We have a DD who's got her heart set on going to Atlantic College, but it just sounds so hard to get in. She is academically able and well suited to the IB programme, gifted in English, very aligned with the values and can demonstrate that we think, could write a pretty compelling application and maybe has a 50/50 chance of getting in.
Couple of questions: 1) She's getting ready to choose GCSEs. Anything to bear in mind? 2) What would be a good second choice if she doesn't get in. Don't want her to be too disappointed and feel "less than" for trying / "failing" 3) Any other tips on how to put best foot forward given we have time. I hear it's good to have a teacher who knows you well, and others.
