Coat to go over blazer? (12yo girl - yes, she does wear a coat!)

I know this is weird, but DD1 does actually like to wear a coat over her blazer when it's cold/raining.

She needs a new one. Would like to mail order. Anyone got any recommendations for something roomy enough to go over a blazer but capable of being stuffed into a locker and likely to be acceptable to a somewhat geeky 12 year old?

When I looked round our local comp recently, I saw some slightly older girls wearing long navy parkas.

when they were outdoors I mean. Also saw a girl wearing the same on Educating the East End

Try Mountain Warehouse. They often have online discount codes available too, if you google.

Agree get a parka. MandM are good value mail order. Oddly about half the kids at Dd's school (leafy comprehensive) wear coats.

Thanks all. Actually hadn't thought of Mountain Warehouse, despite the fact most of her Scouting gear comes from there. Will have a browse for parka-style.

DD has a smart winter coat from New Look which we tried on over her school blazer to make sure the arms were roomy enough. On its 5th winter now.

Also a blue pack-a-mac for when rainy but not cold.

Dd has a 2 part (fleece and waterproof) from go outdoors that she wears half or all of, over her school jacket depending on the weather.
