My DD didn't quite do as well as she expected in history and it came down to underperformance on one paper. We applied for a remark and she got an email saying that her mark had remained the same. However, we also asked for a copy of the paper, and have only just received that. It is clear that the examiner doing the remark had awarded two extra marks. Although this is not enough to alter the grade, I would have hoped that it would be enough to get us our money back for the remark! Is there some rule that says that marks won't be changed if they're within a certain range, or should we protest?
