My DD took the test and scored 219, the historical cut off is 218-220. Does that mean she has passed and has a chance of being in the first pool, or will she be put on the reserve list? She really loved the school and I want to put NW on my CAF as first choice. A lot of her friends took the test and some have achieved fantastic high scores, although quite a few have lower scores than she got. We are also waiting to hear from Wallington Girls to see if that is an option as well. From looking at older posts, it seems that we just have to put our choices down and then just hope all comes well on offers day. It's all just a bit confusing and stressful to say the least! Any thoughts from others MNs would be appreciated, if only to alleviate my angst!

I don't have experience of NW, but yes, you just need to complete your CAF with the schools you like in your true preferred order.

How did your DD do for Wally Girls? Results are out today I understand.

I think it means that you probably won't get it in the first round & therefore be allocated your 2nd choice (or the first school on your list to which you meet the criteria).
You are then placed on a waiting list and this list does have quite a lot of movement. So you could well be offered a place as people decide not to take up their offer.
