Can anyone give me any info on Wilmington Grammar School for Girls?

My dd2 has just passed the Kent test and as ds attends the boys school she is more than likely to get a place at the girls (according to their Admissions Officer). Does anyone have a dd that goes/went there? Do you like the school? I would be really grateful for any info. TIA

I looked around that school not long ago for 6th and was not impressed. The buildings were shabby and run down with paint peeling off the walls. The displays were uninspiring and when we went into the music room the teacher had spelt 'rhythm' wrong on the board. In the end I decided to stay at Dartford Grammar. Much better school with better results and a nicer environment. They have done a lot of building work there recently and it is now very impressive when you go and look around. Would suggest a visit if you haven't been there yet.

Just to mention as well when I was going around the school they seemed shocked that I was even considering moving away from DGGS.
On the other hand, when I looked around for Year 7 it was my favourite choice because I preferred the uniform and I liked the quirky corridors. (naivety of a year 6/7 - not the basis on which to choose a school and my parents over-ruled me.)
