Any advice which would be best for an academic child who enjoys music and drama?

I've answered on your other post. Have you visited?

Until recently I'd have said County, because of its Music specialism and house system (which means more Drama). However I don't know exactly which way the head is taking it. Are you looking at any other local secondaries?

I'd have said county as well, not sure how Christs College compares - are you in catchment for GA?

Boys choir is huge at the County.
Loads of music - there funk band is epic!

Not so sure about the drama.

New head is endeavouring to crack down on discipline, uniform etc.. Not sure if it is a big issue to be honest.

We are just about in catchment for GC and CofE the other choice is Kings. We are very unlikely to get into GA as well out of catchment.

I know both schools.

GC for music, CCG for drama.

Both equally good for the academic IMO.

VERY strong Christian ethos at CCG.

Town centre location of GC can be a plus for transport convenience or minus for hanging round shops, depends how you feel about that.
