I read a blog which stated that one of the innovative ways in which a school had used the pupil premium was to buy the recipients an alarm clock. The blogger felt this was unnecessary as the pupils could have used their phones as an alarm.
I am currently the alarm clock at home as if my son (not in receipt of the pupil premium) is allowed the phone in his room he stays up late playing games and is tired the next day.
Any thoughts?
