Dh has been to see this school and loved it and I am going soon with Dc. From what I can tell, it looks great for us: traditional but friendly, not pretentious.

Does anyone have views/ experience of the school? We'd love to hear to give us a more rounded picture!

Don't have a bad word to say about this school. My best friend and her brothers all went through this school. She absolutely loved her time there, the opportunities were endless. They are all now doctors and did extremely well. Location is also lovely in the heart of historic Rochester and still very close to London. This school certainly on my list for future Dc's without a doubt.

Slightly off the message but does anyone have views on Ashford School, st Edmunds Canterbury or Kent College. Dc is bright but academically unengaged 11 yr old

St eds seems lovey. Didn't like ashford at all - not friendly. Kent seemed v good if you are sporty. We are not. Just our impressions from going round it. Dh likes kings rochester because of its traditional subjects eg Latin which st eds doesn't do.

Anyway, any other views in Kings, Rochester? Anyone done it via fast train at ashford!
