When are mark schemes available?

I ordered photocopies of a couple of DS's AS papers and was hoping that he could go through them against the mark scheme and then, if he thinks he's been unfairly marked, ask a teacher what they think. But the mark schemes don't seem to be available yet. I keep asking him to talk to his teachers before we miss the deadline but he doesn't seem that bothered despite having been surprised that he didn't do better in those two exams.

They're available to the teachers on the day of the results, aren't they?
On the OCR website, they can see what each candidate got for each paper...

A day or two before the results are out, so they will be available now, but buried deep in the website somewhere!

Mark-schemes are available to teachers when the results are out, but they aren't released to the general public then. You need to ask the school for a copy as they will be on a section of the website that is password protected and cannot be accessed by parents (or pupils).

Pupils aren't allowed general access to them because schools will want to use the most recent papers for mocks and they'd be useless if the answers were on the internet.

If you want the mark scheme you'll have to ask the school for a copy.

Sorry I was getting confused with grade boundaries!
