DD at RGS Springfield. Drama not a strength there and wonder if anyone has any experience of drama at RGS Senior school or Kings or Bromsgrove. Any idea which is the best independent senior school in the area for treading the boards? Do any offer scholarships? Any advice very welcome as we don't know how to go forward with this.

RGS Senior School drama is great - amazing facilities (proper theatre) and teachers who go the extra mile to put on first class professional plays. My son has just had a fantastic experience in the Lower School play - a really professional show. Some great photos here:

There are scholarships.

I would second that - RGS Worcester does fantastic productions.

I have heard good things about drama at Kings as well. They don't, AFAIK, have drama scholarships though, but academic scholarships can be up to 30% of fees, so worth having.

Thanks everyone for your comments. They are really helpful, as are the photos. A proper theatre sounds perfect.
