GCSE History - What to see in London this week?

DS is starting GCSEs in Sept, going to London on Wednesday, bit of fun in the London Dungeon but wanted to take him to see something relevant to his course, should we go to the British Museum, Imperial War Museum, Churchill Rooms (any other ideas?) Probably only have time to go to one.

In Y10 he will be studying Intl Relations 1919-39, Origins of the Cold War 1945-60.
Y11 Weimar Germany 1919-29, Nazi Germany 1929-45, Cold War Depth Study.
25% controlled assessment - Historical Enquiry British History / Britain at War WW1 and WW2.

He probably won't want to go anywhere! But I think it will put him in good stead (he does enjoy History at school but struggles academically). Also, he's missed out on a place on the trip to the war memorials in France next year.

Thanks everyone.

I would go to the Imperial War Museum.

I think the Imperial War Museum has a new exhibition on about WW1. It is the best place to go.

IWM is great. Have also heard that the Churchill Rooms are good, but haven't yet made it there ourselves. IWM is walking distance from the London Dungeon too, so keeps things simple!

IWM and Churchill War Rooms are both excellent.

Thank you all! Looks like both options would be good, and walkable from the Dungeon too. :)
