How much stuff do they have in secondary?

Not sure whether this should go here on in Good Housekeeping :) I'm currently trying to organise our hallway and want to get a chest of drawers for all the hats/scarves/gloves etc. Then it occurred to me that DD (about to start Y7 this year) will need space for all her workbooks etc. Presumably there are some things that will stay in her bag every day so that can go on a hook somewhere else - but I'm wondering how much space to allow for text books etc. How/where do you all store all their school stuff?

Dd stores get books in a storage box from The Works in her bedroom.

in their rooms on a bookcase.

Hmm... she does actually have a lot more storage in her room than we have in the hallway. I hadn't thought of that!

All books etc, live in their rooms.
Don't tend to wear hats / scarves / gloves. Well, it goes through phases, but when they are, they go in their coat pockets. Same as when they were at Primary.
