Why is this STILL on the GCSE syllabus, I should have said!

Why not?

flipchart · 16/06/2014 20:45

What's the problem?

What GCSE syllabus? Which board/subject. Sounds a bit odd to me.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 16/06/2014 20:53

What's your point? Which subject/syllabus? What are your objections?

sinningsaint · 18/06/2014 16:49

My DD was really annoyed she had to do 'life in the 60's' for her history coursework because the previous year had done Jack the Ripper, why is it a problem?

cricketballs · 18/06/2014 17:12

Op - haven't you already started a thread about this with the majority of posters (including history specialists) saying that whilst the title may be Jack the Ripper, its about much more tban this not focusing on the gruesome nature of the murders themselves

cricketballs · 18/06/2014 17:14

Apologies op, just seen that you didn't start the first thread re this topic, but the replies to that thread answer your question

TheSarcasticFringehead · 18/06/2014 17:25

What's the matter with it? It may be romanticised by some people, but that doesn't mean it isn't a suitable topic?
