My DD is exceptionally good at sports, year 5, and now thinking about Independent secondaries in London. Which schools have an excellent reputation for sports for girls? (Not St Pauls or Latymer) am thinking more like Harrodian, Emanuel, Radnor House, G and L, Nottinghill and Ealing, etc.

Have you considered Queenswood at Brookmans Park, Hertfordshire. Fiercely sporty! Lots of London girls go there. (Although you seem to be West London so maybe the wrong area - but they do have boarders).

Kingston Grammar. Without a doubt. LEH will also be worth a look and shares facilities with Hampton. Former is one of the best hockey schools in the country, the latter is lacrosse. Both are rowing. Other sports obviously as well. LEH, for example, regularly gets swim teams to the National schools.

Thanks both

I was about to say LEH. Surbiton High is another.

Trouble is we are in West london, and all the schools mentioned are quite far from us, though worth a look.

If your dc can get to Radnor, she can get to LEH or Kingston, very near indeed?

LEH have quite an extensive school bus network, which is worth checking. Inevitably schools further out have more space. St Benedicts also have lovely facilities but I don't know how good their girls sport is. Unlike the other two they are not a fixture to be feared!

Kingston Grammar have school buses from Chiswick and North Barnes if that helps

Habs and NLCS? Both quite far but have extensive bus networks.
